Sleep My Child

Today is a great day! Jonah slept the longest he ever has last night... first he slept 6 hours (second night in a row- woohoo!) and then I fed him and he slept 4 and a half more hours. It was just amazing... this morning I had to go out and make sure he was still breathing because I couldn't believe he hadn't awakened yet to feed.

Last night we drove into Naples and took Jonah to 3rd avenue, where they have all kinds of Christmas lights up. Jonah loves lights, but he mostly stared at Luke the whole time! We would be standing by a huge tree with all kinds of lights, and Jonah wouldn't even notice it because he'd be looking at his dad. Anyway, we had a good time. We came home, and Jonah and I went to sleep. Luke stayed up reading his book, which he finished- it's called The Lone Survivor. He read it in about 5 days... one of the followers of this blog will be very excited about that.

We talked to Luke's brother this morning, who is proud to say that dad's tree is a sapling compared to the one he put up this year... oh boy, I can sense a competition beginning. Dad and Darrin, we need to see some pictures! If you send them to us I'll put them on the blog... and maybe we can do a poll on whose tree is better. In fact, we could include all the Christmas trees in the family and vote on the best one. Wouldn't that be fun?

Today we are decorating our Christmas tree, watching the Eagles game, and going to Mass (at 7 P.M. tonight). And here are today's pictures...

Tummy Time this morning...

Tummy Time up closer...

And closer....

Our dear little Jonah...

That's all for now, folks! Video to follow. Love to all of you!
