New Blog

We have started a new Condit blog, so now I'm going to redirect you to www.condit.weebly.com.  It's a more complex site, but it is much easier to manage and keep up with than our current one.  I've just begun working on it, so it's not completely finished, but it's set up enough that you can navigate through it.  The blog is the main page, and that's where you'll find the main updates... the other pages will come in time.  I just did a post on the Cider Mill... enjoy!

The Time Has Come

...for posting on the blog again! It has been a while, but we have had a very crazy summer, being separated from Luke and living in a different place every couple of weeks. This has made for some challenges, the least of which has been finding time to sit at the computer and blog about the day's events.
Just to give you a little update, after my sister Angela's wedding in August, Luke started his new job in lower MI at St. Catherine of Siena Academy, and it has gone very well so far! We had the wonderful offer from my brother Walter and his wife Kim to stay at their house, so we lived with them for the first 3 weeks while Luke got settled into the new job and we searched for a place to live. Now we are in a condo in Walled Lake, and it's a temporary place for us while we wait. Wait for what, you might ask? We have an offer in on an old farmhouse in Hartland, but it's a short sale, so we must wait for the bank to seal our fate, which could take months.
So it's time for some pictures and videos. As you can imagine, I have a lot. I'm going to begin with the most recent, however, and go backwards. I hope you enjoy!
Here are some from Jonah's birthday...

Cousin Daniel loves Jonah's big puppy!

I recall Luke trying to build a tower with Jonah's new blocks, but this picture shows that he had to give up at the hands of Dominic, Jonah, and Caleb. No tower is going to stand with those three monkeys around!
Grammy, Pop, and Auntie Teresa are on their way to visit us... so I had to give the boys haircuts yesterday. We went over to Aunt Maria's house, and haircutting was one of our many activities! Thanks to The Wiggles, it was a pretty smooth operation.

Talk about lounging!!! Look at Daniel!

And just a few videos... enjoy, and love to all!

Bachelorette Outing & Java Jungle

Last night we ladies took Angela out for drinks... to celebrate these last couple weeks of being a bachelorette! It was so much fun to hang out with the girls.

Marlee has been telling me for a while about this place near her apartment called Java Jungle. She and I finally took Jonah and Caleb there, and they had a blast. It's an indoor play place for kids with lots of slides, tunnels, and things to climb on. I think we could have spent an entire day there, and the boys would have been happy. I took a bunch of pictures and videos. Enjoy!

This little one got into it just as much as his big brother.

Jonah on the balance beam

Caleb was awesome at the balance beam

The tunnel was a big hit

as well as the slide

Okay, here are a bunch of videos. The first one is of Caleb, for those of you who have not witnessed him really walking. That's why I took this one.

The rest are from Java Jungle. You'll see in one of these that Jonah found a little girl he became friends with. They spent a lot of time chasing each other around and playing tag. It was so cute! And if you can't hear Jonah, on one part he says to her, "Wanna come and get me?" He loves to be chased!

This Crazy Life

Well, it's sure been a busy couple of months, but we're just trying to take things a day at a time! We still do not have a permanent place to live for this year. We're workin' on it. My car is now fixed, but the goal is to sell it and get a minivan. Right now Luke is still in FL working at Ave Maria, and I am with the kids at Andrea's house in lower Michigan. It's been nice, but we do miss Luke very much, and we're anxious not be living out of a suitcase!

We found out some exciting news this week. Most likely the baby I'm carrying is a little girl... woohoo! So we are thinking about names and will let you know once it's been decided.

Here is one picture and some videos I've taken. The picture is of Jonah on a bike I just got for Jonah. He loves it and rides it all the time, inside and out!

Here are some videos. The first one is of Jonah and Caleb at Marlee's house. Jonah loves dancing in the Wii game. He does a pretty good job!

I know this is far away, but it's Jonah practicing golf at my parents' house.

Caleb, stirring up mischief at Auntie Am's...

I hope this video isn't too dark- I love how Caleb dances to the music!

Here are some pictures I've taken over the last couple of weeks... I'll post some videos soon. Enjoy!

Not sure about this one... maybe he likes the way the chair smells

Activities in Ann Arbor

Right now we are in Ann Arbor, but we'll head back up north next week. We've been keeping pretty busy! Here's Caleb looking on...

while Jonah helps Auntie Am mow the lawn.

We went for a walk at a park down the road the other day. It was beautiful out, and the park was very nice.

Looking down from the bridge

We went down by the water because we saw a beaver. We wanted to get close, but he jumped in the water right away!

I did get a picture of him.

The most exciting part of this week has been Caleb's newfound desire to take steps. The little guy just hasn't been interested in walking, but I think he's starting to come around. Here's a little snippet.

In the Woods

Jonah and I spent some time in the woods yesterday, and it was beautiful. He didn't want to come out! Here he is walking down the trail...

Grandpa was cutting and loading firewood, so we stopped by to help.

Jonah found some little pieces that he could throw in.

Then we ventured off.

First we found a log for Jonah to climb on. This was probably his favorite activity in the woods!

Time to take a rest...

Here he is climbing on another log...

We also started to build a little lean-to. Jonah had fun helping me collect the sticks for it.

In between adventures in the woods, we are drawing at the snack bar.

And we SURE MISS DADDY!!!

Here's a couple videos I took yesterday. Enjoy!
