Beautiful Day

I took the kids to the park yesterday afternoon- it was a beautiful day! We were there for almost two hours, and it was so much fun. We started at the swings and then hung out on the baseball field. I laid out a nice blanket for Caleb.

He didn't stay put for long!
Jonah went off exploring right away.

It didn't take him long to find a stick he liked.

Jonah isn't the only one who likes the swings now.

Happy boy

On some mornings, when Jonah is really tired, we set up a little fort for him under the piano... where he can lay down and read.

And some videos...

One of Luke's co-workers bought Jonah a basketball money bank... which he loves.

Caleb is crawling now...

I guess Jonah has seen Luke put the discman in his shirt when he goes to work outside. (Discman? What is that? Yeah yeah, we're old school.)

The bleachers sure provide entertainment for Jonah.

A Conversation to Remember

Yesterday, Jonah and I had a little picnic by ourselves. After we finished our lunch, we were laying down on the blanket, looking at the sky. We had a memorable conversation:

Me: "Jonah, who made the clouds?"

Jonah: "God made the clouds!"

Me: "That's right, Jonah! Who did He make them for?"

Jonah: "Made them for the sky!"

Me: "Well, who did God make the sky for?"

Jonah: "For the clouds!"

Me: "Who did He make all these things for?"

Jonah: "He made all these things for Jonah!"

Cows, Plants, and Beans

On Saturday we went to the Family Fun Fest in the towncenter, and it was a lot of fun! We walked around, talked to a few people, checked out the silent auction, and visited the cows. Jonah got to feed them! He loved it. Check out the cow's name...

Here's Jonah pointing out the "s"

Luke and Jonah planted a new row of beans the other day, and they also transplanted Jonah's cornstalk, which is growing rather nicely these days.

And here's a few recent videos...

Jonah's favorite activity the last couple days has been pouring beans from one bowl to another. I got it on video yesterday. Caleb was pretty interested too!
