Activities in Ann Arbor

Right now we are in Ann Arbor, but we'll head back up north next week. We've been keeping pretty busy! Here's Caleb looking on...

while Jonah helps Auntie Am mow the lawn.

We went for a walk at a park down the road the other day. It was beautiful out, and the park was very nice.

Looking down from the bridge

We went down by the water because we saw a beaver. We wanted to get close, but he jumped in the water right away!

I did get a picture of him.

The most exciting part of this week has been Caleb's newfound desire to take steps. The little guy just hasn't been interested in walking, but I think he's starting to come around. Here's a little snippet.

In the Woods

Jonah and I spent some time in the woods yesterday, and it was beautiful. He didn't want to come out! Here he is walking down the trail...

Grandpa was cutting and loading firewood, so we stopped by to help.

Jonah found some little pieces that he could throw in.

Then we ventured off.

First we found a log for Jonah to climb on. This was probably his favorite activity in the woods!

Time to take a rest...

Here he is climbing on another log...

We also started to build a little lean-to. Jonah had fun helping me collect the sticks for it.

In between adventures in the woods, we are drawing at the snack bar.

And we SURE MISS DADDY!!!

Here's a couple videos I took yesterday. Enjoy!

Haircut & Some Videos

I chopped Jonah's hair last night, and he looks like such a big boy!

Here are some videos I've taken over the past few days... in the first one Jonah's using a croquet mallet, but the day after that he switched to a golf club. I'll post of video of him golfing soon- he golfs every single day, several times! He loves it.

Ann Arbor & the U.P.

I know I haven't posted for a long time, but it's been a really busy few weeks for us! We left Florida, stayed in Ann Arbor for a week, and then drove up to Iron Mountain. Here are some pictures...

We've been spending a lot of time in my parents' garden

Jonah put on his work gloves and jumped right in!

He's loving the chipmunk-trapping! He carries the traps around, and he knows how to open them and free the little varmints.

Caleb is enjoying crawling around on the nice soft grass.

Luke surprised us and flew into Iron Mountain the same day we arrived. It was an awesome surprise! One of the first projects he did was to put up the new basketball hoop that Grandpa bought.

I had to post this picture. Jonah started off watering Grandma's flowers in all of his clothes, but slowly each piece was removed for a more enjoyable watering experience!

This was part-way through...

Here are some pics from when we were in Ann Arbor. Here's Grandma and cuddly Daniel

Miss Marlee and Caleb got some cuddle time in, too

These are pictures I took on the flight from Fort Myers to Detroit. Jonah did so well on the plane!

Maria and I got all three kids in the back of my car. It was quite a process!

The porch swing was a hit!

So was nap time!

Good buddies

Jonah enjoyed playing with Auntie Am out by the garden

They were both enthralled by the pink toy
