Family Fun Fest & The Mall

We had a very busy day yesterday. It started out with the Family Fun Fest in Ave Maria, then home to take a nap, then to the mall in Naples to get a few necessary things accomplished. Here are some pics and videos from the day...

Hey Joe... does this bring back memories? It sure did for me! I get to pick rocks again!!! :) (For those of you who don't know, Joe and I used to love picking up neat rocks everywhere we went.)

We went to the first half of the AMU bb game last night. Here's me taking Jonah out of the car.

Baseball Game

Last night we went to AMU's first baseball game. It was a chilly evening and a lot of fun!

We love wearing sweatshirts!

Jonah was more interested in the bus than he was in the game.

AMU's mascot was there... you can see it in the left-hand side of the picture (a dog). Jonah was very interested in it, but if it got too close to him he would cry!

Puddles and Fuzzibunz

Jonah spends a lot of time outside everyday. On Sunday morning, he found a puddle that he greatly enjoyed!

He was soaking wet by the time we went back in the house!

Yep, he wanted to sit right in it.

Out to the Park

Grandma D. got Jonah some alphabet letters for the fridge, and he's sure enjoying them. I can't really say he uses them correctly (because he likes to knock them off) but it's a great educational distraction for when I need to get things done in the kitchen.

Yesterday we borrowed one of those bike trailers from a neighbor, put Jonah in it behind Luke's bike, and biked to the park. It was a beautiful day and so nice to get outside! It was awesome to be on a bike again... the park was fun too!

Another Day in Sanibel

We spent the day in Sanibel yesterday, and it was a lot of fun!

We stopped at a Catholic church along the way, and there was a bald eagle on top of the cross.

We went with Grammy and Pop to Periwinkle Park, where Jonah got to see a lot of exotic birds and animals. He loved it!

The ducks were his favorite.

He just couldn't get enough of them!


We got to see a beautiful swan!

Luke wants to do the caption for this picture, so I'm going to pass the computer to him...

As you will see, I was able to take a good picture of the exotic and wild animals at this park. (oh, and don't forget to notice the monkeys in the background. They are lemurs from Madagascar.)


Very funny, Luke, very funny. We couldn't get Jonah to look at the camera.

Each day we spend some time in Jonah's room. He gets to play around in his crib, and Mama gets to sit in the chair and crochet or do email. Grandpa D. wanted some videos of this, so here are two...

This was on the way to Sanibel yesterday. Jonah had fun saying hi to the trees. Remember I told you he says hi to pretty much anything that moves. Well, seeing as we were in the car the trees were moving!
