More of Jonah's Birthday

I have all videos on this post, and they are mostly from Jonah's birthday last week. Enjoy!

Jonah's very first popsicle...

He can sure have a lot of fun with streamers and balloons.

On Jonah's birthday we did skype with my siblings, and they all sang Happy Birthday together- it was fun!

Then we brought out the cake...

I think he liked it! And it's funny, he never wants to get too messy.

The rest are all of gift-opening... some of the videos I couldn't load up for some reason. I have one for both sets of grandparents... hopefully both videos are on here!

Birthday Cake & Beyond

I haven't posted in a while, so here are some of our latest pics and videos. More to follow sometime soon...

Jonah's first taste of his birthday cake...

We told him to hold up two fingers, but I guess he thought that would be kind of boring!

My first attempt at a homemade layer cake. It was fun! Thanks for the tips, Maria!

Jonah likes to help out, even if it means cleaning out Caleb's stuffy nose...

And he likes a challenge, even if it means walking outside in my dress shoes.

My boys!

Here are some videos. I didn't post the ones from Jonah's birthday yet, but I will soon. These are just ones we've taken over the past week or so.
Jonah is a GREAT helper. He absolutely loves taking Caleb's diaper off, so every time I have to change it, I let Jonah take it off. As soon as I put a clean one on, he asks if he can take that one off too!

Who ever thought Jonah could enjoy a spider so much?!

Jonah has a great swimming coach, his DAD. Check out these two videos. He is just starting to swim on his own a little bit, and it's taken many "lessons" to get to this point.

I finally got him to laugh, but I really have to get excited to do it!

Jonah & Elizabeth

Jonah and Elizabeth really get along well together. On Friday I had some moms over here with their kids, and these two stuck right together the whole time!

Poolside buddies...

Daddy and Caleb hanging out on the couch

Our little guy...

I brought the stroller into the house the other day, and this is what Luke got to do after work that evening! In fact, the next morning when I got him out of the crib, the first thing Jonah said was, "Take a ride?"

Yesterday morning Jonah spent about a half hour laying outside on the ground pointing at the clouds and different things outside. He loves being outside.

He LOVES jumping!

More of Luke and Caleb...

Caleb spends a lot of time laying on the floor in the kitchen. He loves it, too.

This is one of my favorite videos. The other day Jonah got a hold of my make-up case, and he took out the blush and brush. As you'll see here, he knows exactly what to do with them!

Hail Mary & Chatty Caleb

Lately Jonah's been very interested in the baseball cap he got from Pop a while back. He loves putting it on and looking in the mirror!

Stephanie and Travis came for dinner the other night. It was a lot of fun!

Jonah had us all laughing. The sun was setting, and the following conversation took place:
Luke: "Jonah, what are you looking at?"
Jonah (staring longingly out the window): "The sun."
Luke: "Where is the sun going?"
Jonah: "It's going to church."
Luke: "The sun is going to church? What's it going to do at church?"
Jonah: "Pray to Jesus."

He wants to be just like my piano students!

Here you'll get an idea of how cuddly Caleb is. When he's going to sleep he just wants to rub blankets on his face, which is why he's not ready to have an Ellie yet. I can't give him any loose blankets because they'll end up right over his head. At one point in this video, you'll see him pull both sides of the blanket over his face. He just wants to cuddle!

The beach ball has sure been a lot of fun, as Jonah will prove here. Also, you can hear him say "Nice kick!" He always affirms himself.

Every night Luke says a Hail Mary with Jonah, and Jonah is starting to learn it a little bit.

In this video, meet Chatty Caleb. He does this all the time when you talk to him!

Mostly Pics of Caleb

Smiley guy...

My piano student, Marina, just loves the kids!

And they love her!

Here's Caleb in a darling outfit we just got from Stacey Foley (mom of one of my students at South Arbor)

Some more shots of Caleb...

Last night the high school football team here played their first game, and it was a home game, so we took the boys. It was SO much fun to be outside - there weren't really bugs, and it wasn't too hot. Jonah had a blast running around.

Caleb was extremely content in Sr. Mary Margaret's arms. She held him probably for a half hour, and he was as calm and happy as can be!

Jonah and Luke played their own football game at one end of the field.

I don't have any videos today! :(
