Auntie Maria Comes to Town

Luke is gone on his student life retreat this week, so Maria flew down yesterday to keep me and Jonah company! It's so nice to have her here. We've been keeping quite busy. This morning we weeded in the back for a while, and then while Jonah was taking a nap we jumped in the pool just to cool off. This afternoon I had a couple piano lessons, so Maria took Jonah in the pool for a little while, and he loved it of course. Now he's taking a little nap again. Here's some more pictures from Michigan and then a couple from yesterday.

A proud and happy grandmother

Auntie Andrea had quality time with Jonah and the ducky.

Jonah enjoyed his time with Auntie Angela too. He found the strings on her shirt to be very intriguing.

Yesterday Maria, Jonah, and I went to the house where Luke is on retreat. While I was leading praise and worship downstairs, these two hung out in one of the bedrooms upstairs.

He wondered where mom and dad went.

But not for long. The fun with Auntie Maria began promptly.
