Still Lovin' the Egg

Just a few pictures today... Jonah is trying to stand quite a bit now without holding onto anything. He loves it. He's into everything around the house, but lately his favorite toy is the dishwasher.

I know I've slacked on the blog lately. We got back from Michigan last Monday, and then Maria flew down on Wednesday... we kept busy while she was here. We did cleaning, laundry, painting, weeding, and some shopping. It was so nice having her here. I have several pictures to share, some from the wedding weekend in MI, some from Maria's visit, and then some from yesterday.

Auntie Maria Comes to Town

Luke is gone on his student life retreat this week, so Maria flew down yesterday to keep me and Jonah company! It's so nice to have her here. We've been keeping quite busy. This morning we weeded in the back for a while, and then while Jonah was taking a nap we jumped in the pool just to cool off. This afternoon I had a couple piano lessons, so Maria took Jonah in the pool for a little while, and he loved it of course. Now he's taking a little nap again. Here's some more pictures from Michigan and then a couple from yesterday.

Yesterday Maria, Jonah, and I went to the house where Luke is on retreat. While I was leading praise and worship downstairs, these two hung out in one of the bedrooms upstairs.

He wondered where mom and dad went.

But not for long. The fun with Auntie Maria began promptly.

Michigan

We had a wonderful time in Michigan this past week! Walter and Kim's wedding was beautiful, and the time spent with family could not have been better. We enjoyed every moment. I have so many pictures that I will be posting them, in no particular order, for the remainder of the week. Here's just a few for now...

I've slacked on the blogging the past couple of days. We've been so busy running errands and getting prepared for our trip to Michigan! We're all packed and ready to go now, thankfully. Now onto lots of pictures from the weekend...

Eventually, he got distracted by the great outdoors.
