Virus With a Vengeance

Well, it's been kind of a rough week here at the Condit household. Jonah wasn't acting himself on Monday evening, and sure enough by Tuesday morning he had a fever and was extremely lethargic. We took him right to the doctor, but because it was so early, he wasn't showing any symptoms aside from the fever, so it was impossible to figure out the cause. We spent the rest of the day trying to get his fever down, but by 5:30 that evening, it had climbed to 104.4, and with diarrhea and vomiting. Seeing as we couldn't get him to drink anything, we took him to the ER. He has a virus, not the flu, though... and he's now on the mend! Sleeping a lot and finally drinking fluids.

Waiting in the emergency room is never fun!

And then waiting in the room for the doctor is never fun, either!

This is what we've done the past few days... I don't like it when Jonah is sick, but I sure love the fact that he wants to be next to me all the time!

We took this on the way to the doctor's office in the morning. Luke was trying to cheer Jonah up. I'm sure this will cheer you up too! :)

And we took this on the way home from the doctor. Jonah had a temp of 101.1 at this point, but you sure couldn't tell. I think he was just happy we had left the doctor's office! Enjoy, have a great day, and love to all of you!

Good to see Jonah feeling better. I am amazed that he smiled on the way to the doctor seeing he wasn't feeling better yet and especially with that singing. Who was that?

Luke should DEFINITELY put out a children's music CD. That was quite the version of "Rise and Shine"!
