Busy Busy Busy

It's been a really busy couple of weeks here. I'm going to post a bunch of videos that we've taken during this time... hope you enjoy them.

Caleb is getting really "talkative" now, though it seems like as soon as I whip out the camera, he quiets down. Here you can at least see how big he's getting, and in the next video too.

Luke sat his disc-man and headphones on the counter the other day, thus giving Jonah a musical discovery. I love this video.

Yes, we've shifted from putting stickers on paper to putting stickers on our face.

I think this is the video with the spider. I gave Jonah a spray bottle full of water, and it's been a very popular toy outside, where he can spray spiders, lizards, and all kinds of things. The other day he said: "Momma, spray the pool. Momma, spray the deep end. Momma, spray the clouds. Momma, spray the plane." He asks me to spray EVERYTHING!

Just a little clip of what the boys are up to...

Luke singing to Caleb

We still get quite a few showings of our house these days, and I usually take the boys up to Luke's office to visit. Here's just a quick snippet.

One of Luke's co-workers, Bridget, gave Jonah a bouncy ball that lights up.

These two are always up to something fun and exciting.

Kids Say the Funniest Things

So Jonah and I were playing with play dough yesterday, and I only let him play with it on one condition- he's not allowed to eat it. So he kept asking me to make different things with it- first a snowman, then sneakers (he's creative), and then he asked me to make soup. (I was making soup for dinner, so that's where he got the idea.) I took the play dough and formed a pot, and then I sat it in front of Jonah and told him it was soup. We talked about what was in the soup, like celery and onions and potatoes, etc... Then I went into the kitchen to do something, and when I came back I knew Jonah had play dough in his mouth. I looked him in the eye and said, "Jonah, what are you eating?" And he said, "I'm eating a potato!" I should have scolded, but I had to laugh.

My friend Mary Kate chopped my hair on Saturday...

Daddy and Caleb having a moment

Once in a while he likes the swing, but not very often now

This is one thing Jonah likes to do with the garbage can

He pays a lot more attention to Caleb than he used to

Caleb has a bath a few times a week, and he loves it!

Jonah, you're too big for that car seat!

But it's a great place from which to observe the outdoors.

Jonah you're too big for that bath tub!

Hey, you're too small for that hat!
But it's cute.

Enjoy the videos!

In the Bed of the Truck

I can't remember who gave us this outift, but it's so cute on Caleb!

This is Caleb's favorite way to be held right now.

He still loves the pink ball!

Last night before we got Jonah ready for bed we all went outside for a little while. It wasn't too hot, there was a nice breeze, and the bugs weren't bad at all. It was so much fun to be outside!!!
Here's a great shot of Caleb... :) there's a tiny little smile there.

Wow, Caleb can already stand up?!!!

Luke did a great job holding Caleb, laying down in the bed of the truck, and remaining hidden.

Daddy was giving instructions, and they were both listening!

Some videos... enjoy!

Dolls & Dump Trucks

Holding a sleeping Caleb and talking on the phone... pretty common!

The other day I got together with Mary Kate and her daughters Elizabeth and Catherine. Jonah enjoyed playing with Elizabeth, and he was fascinated by her doll. (Luke now feels the need to buy Jonah some trucks or G.I. Joes or something!)

I guess he must be putting her down for a nap...

"Hmmm, the eyes open and close. That is so cool."

Luke took Jonah to the park yesterday while Caleb and I were at Mass "talkin' to Jesus" (that's what Jonah always says.

They also went and saw the dump trucks, but it was pouring so they only looked at them from the car!

Talk about a love affair!

Caleb likes it when a blanket is rubbing against his face. If I'm not there to do it, he'll take care of it himself.

And one video... enjoy!

Green Nose and More

Why is it that Jonah likes to color his nose rather than the paper?

This is one of my main activities after Jonah goes to bed

Some pics of Caleb

Joe and Mary Ellen, do you recognize this outfit? You bought it for Jonah!

And Caleb likes it just as much. :)

A happy baby...

Snack time- Jonah won't really talk in this video, but I included it anyway.

I used to schedule piano lessons during Jonah's naps, but now I make sure to schedule them while he's awake. You'll see why when you watch this video. These are two of my piano students, Thomas and Joseph.
