Bye Bye

Uncle Tom and Auntie Maria left yesterday to go back to Michigan. :( It was a sad day!

They brought Jonah a drawing toy, which he loves...

Auntie Maria got to read lots of books with her nephew.

And we played outside as much as we could!

Jonah even learned a new word... halo! Enjoy!

The Ericksons Arrive

Uncle Tom and Auntie Maria are visiting, so Jonah has a bigger audience to entertain. Tonight Tom and Luke are gone on a little fishing trip with a good friend of Tom's... they're are on the other coast of Florida and will be back tomorrow night. Here are a few pics we've taken:

He's been reading books with his auntie

My belly's getting bigger!

1 2 3 4 5

Jonah can count to five and sometimes even six!

Luke is still making him laugh!

As you'll see here, Jonah's new favorite word is "again" and he says it all the time!

The Park, Rugby, & More

Reading his books

Notice where Jonah likes to lay while I'm playing the piano...

Yesterday we parked in the towncenter and walked to the grocery store. On the way back, we stopped at a bench that Jonah really enjoyed sitting on with his daddy.

Of course we went to the park too!

On Saturday we went over to campus to see part of the rugby and softball games, which were going on right next to each other. Jonah got to play with Dan.

Maybe rugby is more interesting when you watch it upside-down?

Sleepy Lunch

We went to watch an Ultimate Frisbee game last night, and Jonah thoroughly enjoyed himself.

He and Elizabeth stayed near each other and found things to play with. No, there isn't coffee in the cup!

I just had to take a video of Jonah while he was finishing his lunch yesterday. He ate later than usual had a hard time staying awake! Enjoy.

Iron Chef Pizza

Luke was a judge for the Iron Chef Pizza Competition, and here are a few pics from that...

Dan was the MC. Here he is with the ingredients.

The other day we went up to visit Luke and Dan, and Jonah enjoyed the animal crackers that Dan had bought for him.
He even offered one to Luke! (He always offers food to his dad.)

Looking at a Valentine's Card from Grammy & Pop

Isn't this precious?

Here's Luke grating soap for our homemade laundry detergent... what a great hubby I have!

And some videos to share...

What a Sunset!

We had a beautiful sunset last night, so I took a few pictures behind our house...

Jonah is still drawing!

Not only on the paper

A few videos. Enjoy!

When you offer something to Jonah, he will tell you if he doesn't want it.

"All Done!"

I know it's been a while since I updated the blog, but it was a really busy week and the times that I did try to load a video, it just wouldn't work! So here are a few pics and videos...

These two are always having fun together...

Great Grandma Alberti came into town for a visit.

Jonah loves the inner tube, even if it's not in the water.

I hope these videos work... enjoy! I think you'll get a good laugh out of the first one, especially the end!

Blow to the Toe

Here's Jonah and Luke watching the Superbowl together.

Two nights ago Jonah had a little accident. He was moving things around on the first shelf of the pantry, and he grabbed a big ceramic jar full of popcorn kernels and it fell on his big toe. Let's just say it was a LONG evening. He didn't really sleep until after midnight, at which time we wrapped his toe and foot up as you see here. That helped a lot.

Here's a couple short videos. He wasn't much into playing the next morning as his toe was sore and he was going on a very limited amount of sleep! He limped for a day, which you might be able to catch a glimpse of here.
