The Park & More

Jonah likes his booster seat even when it's on the floor!

Here's a few videos. The second one is really dark, but I put it on here anyway. We took Jonah took the park last night right after sunset.

Enjoy, have a great day, and love to all of you!

What a Little Helper

Yesterday Luke spent the day studying for his upcoming IPT weekend, and Jonah and I spent a little time at the park in Ave Maria. Here are some pictures...

He loved the car!

He spent quite a bit of time climbing in and out of the tunnel. It's the perfect height from the ground, so Jonah can get all of the climbing out of his system.

He couldn't quite do the climbing wall, but he sure wanted to.

Isn't this a great pose?

Never enough kisses!

And this morning when I was at Mass, Luke took Jonah outside for a while. It sounds like they had a GREAT time!

They even went for a stroll.

Then they went inside where Jonah played on the zebra.

Jonah has become quite the little "helper"... when we make our bed in the morning, he tries to lift the pillows off the ground and hand them to us. And he's started to do what you'll see in this video. We keep a box of our bills and papers in the corner, and Jonah's new favorite activity is to pick papers out and give them to Luke. Enjoy, have a great day, and love to all of you!

A Sanibel Thanksgiving

Okay, so we spent our Thanksgiving this year in Sanibel with Luke's parents, grandmother, Uncle Jim, and Aunt Kim. It was wonderful. Here's some pictures we took over the past couple of days...

Jonah unfortunately had a bad diaper rash, but I don't think he was too disappointed when he got to run around naked in the condo.

When we woke up on Friday morning, it was in the 40s! So Luke bundled up his son and took him outside for a little stroll.

In the car, Jonah practiced talking on the cell phone...
"I need to make a quick phonecall."
"That's exactly what I was thinking."

I guess he probably learned this from Mommy.

Yesterday happened to be Larry's 60th birthday, so we joined the group for a little sunset cruise and dinner on the water. It was a fun time had by all!

Jim, Larry, and Luke talked it up with the captain...

We enjoyed the fresh air and the setting sun

Then we drove home last night, and Jonah kept us laughing in the car by putting Ellie on his head in different positions.

And just a few quick videos. Enjoy, have a great day, and love to all of you!

This one is really short, but I'm singing a little nursery rhyme and doing the actions (which is tickling the palm of his hand at the beginning), and he always wants to do it to me.

Let's just call this the "whoa" video. This was when we were driving over the bridge to Sanibel Island on Thursday morning, and we were looking for dolphins in the water. Enjoy, have a great day, and love to all of you!

More of the Park

Here's Jonah in his booster seat- he sits here for dinner now and loves it!

A few more pictures from the park the other day...

Here's two videos- the first one Luke took of me coming down the slide and the second one is of Jonah today. Enjoy, have a great day, and love to all of you!

Cookie Failure

We made chocolate chip cookies last night, and they didn't turn out so well. According to Luke, though, the dough was still delicious!

I didn't care. I was mad about the cookies.

Today I heard Jonah laughing away in his room, so I went in to scope out the situation. About a week ago when we had Jonah outside, Luke was throwing a tennis ball up onto the roof, and Jonah wanted to do it. So Luke would hold him up really high, and Jonah would throw the ball up onto the roof. Now inside the house he throws everything up onto something- it's so funny. Enjoy, have a great day, and love to all of you!

The Mall & Sanibel

Saturday we spent some time at the mall, where we picked out a little Christmas outfit for Jonah. We spent a few minutes in the little play area, where Jonah had a lot of fun on the dragonfly.

Jonah was asleep in the stroller before we even left the mall. It was a busy day!

Yesterday we spent the day in Sanibel with Luke's parents. We had lunch at a little park, where Jonah thoroughly enjoyed playing with the wood chips. He said "Grammy" and "Pop" quite a bit, and he also got to see his Great Grandma Condit, Uncle Jim, and Aunt Kim. It was a wonderful day!

Enjoy, have a great day, and love to all of you!
