Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all! Yesterday's travels prevented me from blogging, but I'm back on track today. Hope everyone is having a wonderful Thanksgiving with family, friends, food, and fun! God is so good to us... we all have much to be thankful for. Well, we had a wonderful trip home yesterday, and everything went quite smoothly, at least much better than I expected. We flew from Fort Myers to Detroit, and Jonah slept throughout the entire flight. Then we stayed overnight at Auntie Andrea and Auntie Angela's house- and the next morning we left for Iron Mountain by car. We made it in eight hours, and Jonah did awesome. He slept most of the way there actually! Today has been really relaxing, just hanging out with the family and enjoying our time together. Before I share the latest photos, there is one more item of business... we would like to send out some HAPPY BIRTHDAY wishes to Larry Condit, who is also Dad, Father-in-Law, and Grandpa in this family. You're in our thoughts and prayers today in a very special way. May God bless you abundantly! We love you! Now for some recent photos. We have many more to share, but this is it for now...

Traveling Time

Good morning! Today will be a day of packing and getting ready for our trip up north. We're leaving at 5:30 for the airport, and I think our flight is around 8 PM, so we don't get into Detroit until about 11:00 PM. It will be late, but this might be a good thing as it's more likely Jonah will sleep on the plane! Well, that's really about all there is to report. Here are some pictures for you to see...

Just Another Day...

Tomorrow we leave for Michigan... woohoo! Today we are busy getting things ready for the trip, and also we're having company for dinner tonight... so the day will most likely fly by. I don't have time to download the pictures I took yesterday, so I decided to post up a few that you haven't seen yet. They are from the past week.

Sometimes in the mornings when Jonah wakes up but we want to sleep longer, we'll take him into our bed for an hour. And he always falls right back asleep! See, his arms are up again... a tell-tale sign of comfort and peace.

Weekend Update

Thanks to all of those who participated in the poll... Maria, we saw your comment. Listen, we know what a poll is, but thank you for your offer to explain its meaning. :) Where's the rule book that says we can't change it up and have a little fun?!!! Huh? Anyway, those of you who guessed the blue stripes with the lion were correct. Nice job! Here are some pictures to prove it. The first picture shows just how much Jonah loves the swing- he falls asleep almost every time we put him in it.

Also, we did take a little video of Jonah before we left for Macy's yesterday. Of course, he is talking to his animal friends in this video. We hope you like it!

So we did spend the day at the mall yesterday, and it was loads of fun. Luke was able to order a new pair of glasses, and I was able to buy a pair of jeans and some shirts- I finally have some clothes that fit me! Woohoo! Jonah had a great time... he mostly ate and slept all day. There's a specific place in the mall that we sit to feed him and change his diaper (see below). Anyway, we had a great time... we're happy that next Saturday we won't be able to go as we will be in the U.P. with most of you!!! It's going to be a great time.

Last night Jonah woke up more than the night before, but he was still pretty good. We got up and had breakfast, and now we're just relaxing and enjoying this Lord's day. Jonah was pretty sleepy all morning... I took this photo of him right before breakfast- we always know when he's in a sound sleep because his arms are up.

We're not going to do too much today. The weather is really nice, so we might go for a long walk outside, and we'll attend the 7 PM Mass tonight. I think we'll probably start packing a few things for the trek up north as well because tomorrow night we have company for dinner and then we leave Tuesday. We're so excited to see family. Back to Macy's

Good morning to all! We had a great night last night. Jonah went to sleep around 9:30, and he didn't wake up to eat until 3:00... and then he slept until 6:15!!! It was awesome. I think he's starting to take a little turn and eat less, much to our delight. Today we're going to take him back to Macy's at the mall. Last weekend we spent Saturday there, and Jonah LOVED looking at all the Christmas stuff in Macy's- there were lots of lights, colors, and sounds to be enjoyed. Here is a picture we took last weekend when we were there.I hope you all enjoyed our first video Delightful Sounds... oh, how we enjoy those sounds daily. Well, I thought I would upload another video for you to watch. Don't worry, this one does not include any rocket blasts that I know of. It's really cute, though. You will see how talkative Jonah is becoming day by day. We took this video last night...

Delightful Sounds

One of the reasons we started this blog is to let our family and friends experience all the joys we have because of Jonah. Here is a fun video that we took just a couple days ago...
